Let the adventure begin! Start the day with seasonal fruit picking, followed by a stroll through charming streets lined with nostalgic old-style shops. Admire a beautiful collection of traditional handmade dolls and visit a historic saké brewery to learn about this age-old craft. End the day with the option to relax in a soothing natural hot spring (onsen) before settling in for the night in Hita.

Take in the breathtaking beauty of Kyushu’s top fall foliage spots, then walk through a unique hand-carved tunnel steeped in history. Explore the otherworldly “Hells of Beppu,” a collection of dramatic hot spring pools. In the evening, enjoy a delicious chef-served sushi dinner and unwind with an optional soak in your hotel’s natural onsen.

Discover an ancient Buddha carved into a cliffside, then visit the atmospheric ruins of a mountaintop castle with sweeping views. Enjoy a scenic walk through the stunning Takachiho Gorge, known for its dramatic cliffs and waterfalls. In the evening, experience a traditional Kagura dance performance at a 1,000-year-old shrine, steeped in myth and legend.

Begin the day with a breathtaking sunrise over the mystical ‘Sea of Clouds,’ followed by a peaceful riverside walk to a revered spiritual power spot. Take a scenic drive up to the dramatic crater of Mount Aso, one of Japan’s most active volcanoes. In the evening, unwind at a beautiful ryokan nestled in the Aso-Kuju mountains, featuring both indoor and outdoor hot-spring baths. Cap off the day with an exquisite kaiseki-ryōri dinner — a multi-course feast celebrating seasonal flavors.

Explore the majestic Kumamoto Castle, one of Japan’s top three historic castles, rich in samurai history and architectural grandeur. Enjoy a relaxing cup of green tea in a serene traditional Japanese garden. Return to Fukuoka for a free and easy evening — perfect for dining, shopping, or soaking up the city’s vibrant nightlife.
